AI Employees by Tech Local

Your first week with an AI employee

The first week is dedicated to making the agreed role work in your business. Tech Local comes to your East London office for five onboarding visits, with one scheduled session on each of five weekdays. Your named supervisor works with us throughout the process.

Before the first visit

We agree the role before you pay: duties, workload, working hours, tools, permissions, acceptance checks and how problems are handled. We also agree the length and time of each session. Five visits means five scheduled sessions, rather than a promise of five full days of someone sitting in your office.

Choose a supervisor who knows the workflow and can make time for the sessions. Gather approved examples, current templates and any working rules the employee needs. Arrange authorised account access; sensitive information should only be connected under the agreed data-handling and permission terms.

Days one and two: a job and a place to work

We turn the agreed job description into practical working instructions. Together, we identify the first tasks, the sources the employee should use and the point at which a person needs to make a decision. Missing information should be flagged, not filled in with a guess.

Next, we connect the approved tools and check access. An employee preparing drafts may need different permissions from one maintaining a shared tracker. We work through those differences with the supervisor and check that the selected product supports the arrangement.

Day three: teach it your way of working

Your business context makes the work useful. Explain the terms your team uses, the difference between an urgent enquiry and a routine one, and the tone you want in a reply. Show examples of finished work and explain why they are good.

We help put that context into usable instructions and reference material. Teaching an AI employee does not mean every correction will automatically fix every future task. We test the working instructions and refine them with you.

Days four and five: practise and hand over

Run representative tasks together and compare the result with the agreed checks. Include an exception: an incomplete enquiry, an outdated document or a request outside the role. The supervisor should see when the employee asks for help and how corrections are handled.

At handover, review the permissions, outstanding issues and normal working routine. Your supervisor should know how to request work, check it and contact Tech Local. Agree the monthly review and support arrangements so the role has somewhere to go when needs change.

After the first week

Onboarding is included in every package, alongside ongoing support, training and a monthly review. Keep examples of work that helped and work that needs attention. Those are useful inputs to the review, without needing a complicated measurement system.

Request your money back on WhatsApp within 30 days of your first onboarding day and we will refund your full first-month payment to Tech Local, including onboarding. Subscriptions you paid for directly with another provider are excluded.
