What does an AI employee cost?
Tech Local’s AI employees start at R4,000 per month, including the AI subscription, onboarding and ongoing support. The monthly amount is fixed for the role agreed with you. If you already have a suitable subscription, you can pay a lower Tech Local service fee and keep paying your provider separately.
Three monthly packages
The package names describe increasing working capacity. Junior suits a focused recurring role. Intermediate makes room for a busier mix of work. Senior provides greater capacity for a more demanding agreed role. All include the same onboarding and support. We match the package to your workload before payment.
No VAT is currently charged because Tech Local is not VAT-registered. The amounts below are the final monthly prices today.
- Junior: R4,000/month all-inclusive, or R2,000/month for Tech Local service when you bring a suitable subscription.
- Intermediate: R8,000/month all-inclusive, or R4,000/month for Tech Local service when you bring a suitable subscription.
- Senior: R20,000/month all-inclusive, or R10,000/month for Tech Local service when you bring a suitable subscription.
What the monthly salary includes
The all-inclusive amount covers the agreed AI subscription and Tech Local’s service. That includes five scheduled onboarding visits—one office session on each of five weekdays—plus ongoing support, training and a monthly review. Session lengths, timing and support arrangements are agreed in advance.
“Salary” is the familiar label for the monthly service price. Your agreement is with Tech Local. The AI employee supports one named person under a written role and permission structure, with Tech Local accountable for making that agreed role work.
How bring-your-own pricing works
With your own subscription, the Tech Local fee is half the all-inclusive amount. You continue to pay the software provider yourself. That is a lower service invoice, not a promise that your combined monthly cost is half.
We check that your existing subscription is suitable for the role. Extra accounts or licences are not silently added. If the arrangement needs one, the requirement and its cost are settled before you pay. Keep the provider subscription and Tech Local fee together when comparing options.
What makes the price predictable
A fixed price needs a defined job. The role agreement records duties, workload, working hours, expected outputs and checks. Tech Local manages capacity for that agreed scope. You do not need to translate the job into technical usage measurements to have the conversation.
If your team wants a different role or a larger workload, we agree any change affecting the price first. Package names do not guarantee a particular number of human working hours, perfect output or more authority to act.
Your first month and cancellation
Request your money back on WhatsApp within 30 days of your first onboarding day and we will refund your full first-month payment to Tech Local, including onboarding. Subscriptions you paid for directly with another provider are excluded.
The service is month to month. Tell us before your next renewal if you want to cancel; no minimum term applies. Before starting, compare the monthly price with a specific bottleneck in your business: the quotes waiting to be drafted, the records waiting to be organised or the follow-ups your team struggles to keep current. That gives the first month a useful question to answer.
