Ping

The need

Agents can finish tasks, encounter blockers or detect an incident while their owner is away from the computer. A useful alert needs to reach the phone without granting every agent permanent, unrestricted access.

What Tech Local built

Ping pairs an iPhone app for named agent keys with a documented notification API. Each key has an allowed alert level and can be revoked independently. Agents can send Normal or Time Sensitive requests with a deduplication key; notifications are passed to Apple Push Notification service.

Practical value

People can stay reachable for meaningful agent events while controlling each integration separately. Independent revocation limits the effect of a retired agent or exposed key, and deduplication helps prevent repeated alerts when a request is retried.
